Do You Hate Shaving? Electrolysis is your answer to permanent hair removal!
What Is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal dating back to its discovery in 1875. Dr. Charles Michel, an Ophthalmologist and Field Surgeon in the Confederate Army, experimented and discovered electrolysis when treating ingrown eyelashes.
Today, using state-of-the-art technology, a minute amount of electrical current is gently applied to the base of the hair follicle using a very fine probe to enter the natural opening in the skin, alongside the hair shaft. This process destroys hair growth tissue at the dermal papilla, or root, of the hair follicle. In turn, this process eliminates the ability of the hair follicle to regenerate permanently. Electrolysis may require multiple treatments to achieve optimal results.
